A Multi Dimensional Approach
The etymology of “heal” is in fact “to make whole”. All pain, suffering and disease ultimately find their root in some form of fragmentation or disconnection, caused by judgments, beliefs or fears. Because our true nature is non dual and non-separate, the pain that arises from fragmentation is in fact a symptom of the pain of losing or forgetting a part of ourselves and thus our wholeness. In fact the word “holy” itself also refers to wholeness, for God, the divine, the universe or truth cannot be anything less than whole. For true healing we must therefore address our being as a whole – honoring and addressing each dimension of our being allows them to work together towards creating change.
These different dimensions of our realities are deeply and dynamically interconnected. Only by addressing each one, and understanding how they interact with each other, can we begin to heal and create true and lasting change. Healing and spirituality seeks to move from a place of fragmentation to a place of wholeness. The more whole our experience, the less we depend on outer circumstances to naturally experience more ease, contentment, love and joy.
The purpose of this page is to facilitate understanding these different dimensions, how they work together and the different modalities and practitioners that serve and affect these dimensions. This is a work in progress, all contributions are welcome.
